The VIII St.Petersburg Open Contest named after Professor Veniaminov for the best students scientific paper in Economics, Management and IT economic application.

The Contest is organized by St.Petersburg Government Science and Higher Education Committee, International Higher Education Acad-emy of Sciences and International Banking Institute.

The Contest is held since 03.04.2009 till 26.12.2009 in the following areas:

• Economical theory;
• Finance: problems and decisions
• Banking system in condition of financial globalization ;
• Social, Administrative and Regional and Production Management;
• Applied methods in mathematics and econometrics
• Mathematical Methods and IT Usage in Economics, Business and Innovative Activity.

Papers presented for the Contest will be assessed by the commission including specialist of branch com-mittee of the St.Petersburg Government, full members of the St.Petersburg branch of the International Higher Education Academy of Sciences and teachers of the city’s universities and institutes. Original scientific papers, containing detailed analysis of the selected problem (within the frame of Con-test basic areas), the author’s vision of the ways it can be solved and practical recommendations, receive priority.

Winners Awards
The best papers will be presented at the city’s exhibition and published in a special issue of the interaca-demia scientific journal «Students’ Economic and Scientific Society Bulletin». All the winners will be awarded with diplomas and valuable presents. Best works are also to be recommended for Federal and City projects and programs.

Papers design regulations
Size of the work presented should not exceed 16 pages of printed text, font Times New Roman 14 pt.; page parameters: bottom - 2 cm; top - 2 cm; right - 2 cm; left -2.5 cm; justified alignment, left and right spaces - 0 pt., indentation – 1.25 cm, paragraph spacing – 0 pt, line spacing – multiplier 1.2. Each image or chart should be presented at a separate page, all elements of each image or chart/graph designed with MO Word should be grouped together, image subtitles should have justified alignment and 12 pt. font size.
Works should be submitted in Russian, English or German language.

Should be submitted only via registration on www.ibi.spb.ru (Conferences). Be sure to include:

1. Scientific paper.
   The front page should include:
   • university
   • faculty
   • Contest motto – «Students of Universities for Economic Progress»
   • subject
   • author (authors) – first and last name, specialization, academic year
   • academic advisor – surname, initials, academic degree, title, position
   • city
   • year
