Dr. Yuri D. DEREVYANKO Born 1960 in Leningrad.
1982 - graduated from Leningrad Institute of Economic and Finance named after A.Vosnesensky
1982 -1988 - worked as economist of the Planning and Economy Department of the Scientific and industrial amalgamation “ Aurora”
1988 - Financial and commercial director of the Scientific and Technology Youth Center “ASTRON” |
1990-1994 - Deputy of the Leningrad City Council, member of the Commission for Economic Reform. He took an active part in preparing the reorganization of banking sphere in St. Petersburg. He is one of the authors of the program “The Northern Gate” which laid foundation to the plan of social and economic development of St.Petersburg.
1991-the International Banking Institute was founded as the result of Dr. Yu. Derevyanko initiative.
Dr. Yu. Derevyanko took an active part in planning the strategy of the International Banking Institute development and recruiting the staff and students.
Since 2000 Dr. Yu. Derevyanko is the Director of the Investment Center of the International Banking Institute.
